Economic Development: Industrial Park

A growing, educated and highly motivated work force and the availability of vocational training result in diversified, productive workers. Brunswick County is blessed with a willing and enthusiastic work force as well as educational facilities to train them and business centers for the location of industrial, commercial and small business enterprises. There are also several business and industrial parks in the county with attractive rates and services.

Shallotte Business Park is located in Shallotte. This 50-acre park has direct access to Hwy.130 and is 3 miles west of Hwy. 17 (4-lane). It has water, sewer, electric, and is zoned commercial manufacturing. It is owned by the South Brunswick Islands Committee of 100. 910-253-4439

Leland Industrial Park is located in Leland in the northeastern part of the county. This 2,200-acre park has direct access from Hwy. 74/76 (4-lane) and is 8 miles west of Wilmington. It is accessible by CSX Railway and has water, sewer, electric and gas and is zoned heavy manufacturing. Leland Industrial Park is owned by Landmark Commercial. 910-392-7201

Lincoln Industrial Park is located in Belville. This 200-acre park has direct access from Hwy. 17 (4-lane) and is 3 miles south of Wilmington. It has water, sewer and electric and is zoned heavy manufacturing. Lincoln Industrial Park is privately owned. Winnabow Business Development Center, located on Highway 17 just north of Bolivia, offers space to new and growing businesses. Housed in a 16,000-square-foot metal building with a concrete floor, the center offers two 5,000-square-foot spaces for manufacturing or light assembly and 6,000 square feet of finished space for professional and administrative offices. It has water, sewer, electric, high-speed internet access and 24-hour key access. Southport/ Oak Island Industrial Park is located near Southport. This 20-acre park has direct access to Hwy. 211 and is 3 miles west of Southport near the town of St. James.
