| The 24th Annual NC Oyster Festival had a record breaking weekend, with 30,000 visitors! Many activities including live music, great food, the Road Race, Surf Contest, Oyster Shucking Championship and Oyster Stew Cook-off made for an action packed event. The Winner of the Oyster Stew Cook-off for the 3rd year in a row was Roberto's Ristorante. The Amateur Oyster Shucking Winner is: Pierre Dacons of Statesville.
